Yellowstone National Park Advertising Trade Cards - Late1800s to early 1900s
(see link below)
Gardiner River Hot Springs, Idaho
Not in Idaho of course, but in Wyoming. Although that portion of Yellowstone was part of Idaho Territory 1863, Dakota Territory in 1864-68, then Wyoming Territory.
The Jersey Coffee trade cards were produced by the Dayton Spice Mills Co. in Dayton Ohio and were included in packages of their coffee. Actual size is somewhat smalled than a standard postcard. |

In order to expedite the construction of this website (and avoid a lot of tedious work), I have decided to link some of these pages to my former Geocities website that was taken down several years ago. The whole site has been archived by the nice folks at www.archive.org in their "Wayback Machine" (thanks Sherman & Mr. Peabody). Click on the link below for the Yellowstone Advertising Trade Cards page. Use the 'Back' button on your Internet Explorer page to return to this page as there are no links on my old site back to this site. If you follow the many links in my old site, it is possible you may not find your way back here easily, as I have no control over my old site and there are no back-links to this site. Don't panic - just type www.geyserbob.org in the address bar to return to my current home page. I offer no guarantees that all of the images or links will still work, but all the text should offer you good reading.
Please be patient while the page load. This is a very fascinating collection of late 1800s to early 1900s trade cards with wonderfully engraved images of Yellowstone's scenic wonders. Happy Trails and thanks for visiting my site!
